Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Rebond Operator B on 2nd shift in our CBFL Department at our Lakeland, FL manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for safely cleaning machinery and equipment used for manufacturing our products to both internal and external customers by a daily production schedule.
Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operational excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to communicate and coordinate with Carpenter Employees of all levels to safely and efficiently meet daily production demands.
Additional responsibilities of the Rebond Operator B will include:
- Use the hand-held high pressure water gun to clean the wet mixed, feed box, and paddle wheel nightly in a safe manner
- Clean top, bottom & side of belts & wax
- Set up the automatic high pressure washers and remove all loose foam from the equipment on the bonded pour line
- Maintains a clean working environment.
- Ensures that all equipment on the production line are operating properly on a daily basis
- Make sure the department is clean and orderly
- Assists with inventory, as required.
Shift hours are currently 3:30 pm - 12:00 am for 2nd shift, mandatory overtime determined by the workflow is applicable.
Skills / Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- Must be able to obtain a company forklift license
- Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
