The Jr. SAP Analyst will use the SAP platform to create solutions to resolve complex Finance and Accounting procedural problems.  This position will also be responsible for providing support to SAP users on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to use the SAP development tool to design, implement, maintain and support application solutions in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Credit Management, General Ledger, Costing, Profitability, and Banking.  This will include collaborating with the project team members and users to develop or enhance specific applications that support continuous functional improvement.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Develop test plans to assure expected performance levels
  • Test system modifications/enhancements
  • Document system modifications/enhancements
  • Train and support end users
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues

Skills / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2 or more years of experience working with SAP FI and MA modules; have a general understanding of SAP GL and Fixed Assets functionality
  • 3 or more years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets or payroll
  • Prior project management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills to include Word and Excel
