Forklift Operator - Shipping - 2nd Shift

Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday (2:30-11:00pm) and Sunday (6:00am-2:30pm)

Under the direction of the Shipping Manager, this position is responsible for the movement of products to and from the Chop Line. 

This position requires the following minimum qualifications:

*Must be able to communicate verbally and written with the department and supervisor.

  • Must work in a safe manner.
  • Must maintain value of order.
  • Move buns from the chop line to storage rows in the warehouse.
  • Maintain FIFO (first in first out) by putting the oldest foam first.
  • Must be able to load material onto trucks.
  • Able to transport finished product to the stock area.
  • Must be able to maintain inventory without damaging the buns.
  • Ability to communicate with management and inventory clerk on inventory discrepancies, damages, and substitutions.

Skills/ Requirements

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree Preferred.
  • Six to 12 months of manufacturing forklift experience
  • Must be able to use computerized equipment in day to day operations and have computer knowledge.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and be able to meet the physical requirements of this position with/or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays with little call in time.
