E.R. Carpenter, LP., a Petrochemical Plant located in Pasadena, TX., has an immediate opening for an Administration Coordinator to join our Administrative Team.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Administration Departments

  • Serve as primary backup for Accounts Payable Coordinator
  • Serve as secondary backup for Front Office Coordinators
  • Perform administrative work, including creating and maintaining electronic and physical files, copying, scanning, email, etc.
  • Maintain hourly personnel vacation/absence hours in Kronos time system
  • Assist Human Resources Manager with personnel/administration related responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to function independently, with little supervision; possess high initiative and excellent problem solving skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Good organization, scheduling and time management skills
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Must possess the ability to cross train in various administrative areas of responsibility


  • Three to five years of administrative/clerical experience required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Some payroll/HR related experience preferred
  • Accounts Payable experience preferred
