Production Worker

Job Description

Maintain a constant supply of sorted foam trim into grinding system, clean the Rebond line, and operate overhead crane to move large foam buns. Major challenges of the cleaner/grinder/crane operator position include operating several pieces of equipment at one time. Cross-trained to be a Utility operator. Ongoing communication with various maintenance operators, trim room personnel, and department supervisor. Works in a normal production environment with exposure to temperature changes.

  • Clean Rebond line and operate the Grinder.
  • Use the overhead crane to back stack foam buns.
  • Will record grinding weights, maintain grinding log, monitor and make adjustments to the storage bins ensuring accurate amounts of foam.
  • Empty scrap metal in outside storage bin.
  • Will put in dyes and keep area clean.
  • Must be forklift certified or able to become immediately certified upon hire.

Skills / Requirements

  • High school education or General Education Degree preferred.
  • Prior Fork Lift experience.
  • Basic reading and writing skills and be able to use simple math.
