Machine Operator

This position is responsible for tall daily operations in the Bedding Department. There is a focus on quality and safety while pursuing daily operations.

This position requires the following minimum qualifications:

*Must be able to communicate verbally and written with the department and supervisor.

    • Must be able to be trained and develop ability to operate all machines in the bedding department.
    • Must be able to enter dimensions into control panel and set other machine parameters.
    • Must be able to verify proper machine operations and check output accuracy via Monte stick.
    • Must be able to use front-end automation to operate machinery.
    • Must be able to complete other duties as assigned by Department Manager.
    • Must be able to operate baler and tie bales.
    • Must be able to operate a tow motor or be willing to learn.
    • Must have basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Must have basic computer skills.
    • Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver foam weighing up to 40 lbs.
    • Must be able to work overtime or weekends, as needed.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree Preferred.
  • One year machine operation experience.
  • Must be able to use computerized equipment in day to day operations and have computer knowledge.
